One of the most played indoor sports in history is the pool game. This is a very creative way to spend your free time and just relax. It may involve same thinking but this is quite good for you. The history of cue sports dates back to the times of kings and emperors. Over the centuries the sport has evolved and changed, not so much though, with time. Since the 15th century this sport has been played in Europe and many parts of France. But then the It was more of an outdoor sport called croquet. It then now to an indoor sport called the cue sport.
The table used at that time was a wooden table covered with a green cloth. This green cloth effect is still used in making pool tables up to this day. The balls were placed on the table and instead of being struck like with a cue like they now do it was shoved with a wooden stick also referred to us maces. In the 1800′s the sport was referred to as Noble Game of Billiards. This was because it was only played by noble and the royal. A century later it become a common sport to every one and was enjoyed by many people. After becoming too popular it was official made an all peoples sport and the rules were published so that people can learn this sport.
This same century people stopped using the mace and the cue stick was developed. This made it very easy to play unlike using the mace which had a huge head and could not be easily handled. But this was only good news to the men as the women were only allowed to use mace and not a cue.
The table and the ball were improved in order to make the sport more enjoyable. Since then pool tournaments have been held in many parts of the world and a lot of pros have come up. Pool game is played by all kind of people young, old, male or female. Having a pool game at your house can be a really great way to spend time.
